Letter from the President

Welcome to the Gamma Kappa Chapter of Sigma Alpha Mu at Texas A&M. We are absolutely ecstatic that you have taken the time to browse our website and learn more about our chapter. Sigma Alpha Mu has been present at Texas A&M since 1980, and has recolonized in the spring of 2003. As Greek Life at Texas A&M continues to expand exponentially, with it Sigma Alpha Mu seeks to follow this trend in growth and expansion.
Membership in Sigma Alpha Mu is something that lasts longer than just your undergraduate years, rather it is a membership for life. The brothers you meet, the experiences you have, and the memories you make with Sigma Alpha Mu will last a lifetime. In the words of our founders, the purpose of the Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity is "To foster and maintain among its sons a spirit of fraternity, a spirit of mutual moral aid and support; to instill and maintain in the hearts of its sons love for and loyalty to Alma Mater and its ideals; to inculcate among its sons such ideals as will result in actions worthy of the highest precepts of true manhood, democracy, and humanity."
On behalf of the Gamma Kappa Chapter, I once again thank you for taking time to look through our website, and hope that Sigma Alpha Mu can help you make the most out of your undergraduate years at Texas A&M!

Thank you!

Gabe Noble,
President
